“Recipientele lui Schlingensief” a fost un proiect de artă și o emisiune TV bazată pe conceptul artistului și a directorului german Christoph Schlingensief . Imediat după ce partidul populist de dreapta FPÖ, aflat sub conducerea lui Jörg Haider, a devenit parte a noului govern, Schlingensief a ales o modalitate unică de protestare și a instalat o tabără de recipiente în centrul orașului Viena. Falsificînd formatul popular al emisiunilor « reality show », o duzină reală de solicitanți de azil s-au mutat și au trăit în recipiente. Dar în loc să fie propuși de la emisiune, au fost aleși din toată țara.

„Schlingensiefs container” was an art project and a television show based on the concept of the German director and artist, Christoph Schlingensief. Right after the right-wing populist party FPÖ, under the leadership of Jörg Haider became part of the new government Schlingensief chose a unique way of protesting and installed a container camp in the city centre of Vienna. Mocking the format of the popular reality shows a dozen real asylum seekers moved in and lived in the containers, but instead of being voted out of the show, the chosen ones were to be voted out of the country.
