„Travelling poster show TOLERANCE” a fost iniţiat în primăvara anului 2017 de catre Mirko Ilić (designer renumit din Bosnia și Herţegovina, acum stabilit la New York) cu scopul de a apropia oamenii faţă de această problemă de însemnate mondială și de a oferi o ocazie unică tuturor de a vedea o selecţie de postere ale designerilor proeminenţi din întreaga lume. Fiecare dintre aceste postere prezintă o viziune aparte asupra temei toleranţei care afectează într-un mod deosebit și Moldova.
Colecţia crește continuu în număr datorită noilor locaţii care bineînţeles contribuie cu câte un poster pe același subiect. Astfel la moment ea numără 54 de postere dintre care la Chișinău vor fi expuse 53.

Travelling poster show TOLERANCE – initiated by one of the most successful graphic designers from across the former Yugoslavia Mirko Ilić, is offering to visitors a unique opportunity to see 54 posters of renowned designers from all over the world. Each of these posters have their own way in presenting tolerance; a topic that is globally very important, especially in today’s time. The special value of the exhibition are world authors whose works will be exhibited for the first time in Moldova.

Mirko Ilić explained the role of the designer in promoting tolerance and establishing peace. “The initial idea of ​​this exhibition was to invite well-known graphic designers to create posters based on their understanding of tolerance in the mother tongue. One of the conditions was that the exhibition is placed in a public space, among the citizens, not in art galleries. The purpose of the exhibition is not only posters, but in gathering and approaching people. Artists are the ones who promote tolerance and peace, and facilitate the reconciliation process,” says Ilić.
